Minimum server requirements
Any OS that runs Python 3.10+ with 2 CPU cores, 4 GB of RAM and 40 GB of storage (not straight away, but eventually)
If your server will be used by more than 10 people, double the CPU and RAM.
PieFed is quite frugal with storage usage but it will grow over time. After 18 months of operation PieFed.social uses 100 GB of space, for example.
PieFed can be installed using docker or on ‘bare metal’

The bare metal installation instructions were the original ones so they contain a lot of extra detail. If you choose the docker-based method then you might find the bare metal instructions pick up where the docker ones left off.
